14.) San Francisco gets rocked by another earthquake with substantial damage.

15.) The idea of taxing religion becomes a grass-roots campaign.

16.) MC Hammer diaper pants make a comeback but only for women in high-end couture fashion.

17.) A major archaeological find is found of Biblical proportions.

18.) Twitter gets even more spammier.

19.) Facebook makes even more unwanted changes.

I started with the white and grey colored app icons on page one.
Here are the screen shots:

I then made a page for tans and yellows.

Next a page for mostly green icons.

The page for blue colored app icons is the largest. There was a nice infographic in Mashable that broke down the colors of many web company logo’s and blue was dominant.

Lastly. a page for red.

As you can see, I left the iTunes app all by itself on the bottom showcase because he had no purple friends to hang with. I’m not sure how functional this will be in use. I was timid to move the location of the phone icon, but maybe this will make me use Siri more, even though she seems to not be able to do some key things. I’d love for Siri to be able to simply ‘close all the apps running in the background’, instead of me having to do it, but alas, she cannot.

This was a fun project to do and share, but app organizing on the iPhone itself leaves something to be desired. Pulling around shaky icons, dragging and dropping them from page to page is not the most fun. Even organizing apps within iTunes is a pain. There should be an easier way to do this. Perhaps an application could scan the application’s icon and assign them a overall color (like photomosaics software) and then organize them accordingly. Maybe I will get with @gedeon at Iconfactory and pitch this idea.
